Lisa Brown Buchanan

Abstract

Beginning educational researchers can become overwhelmed with the magnitude of the coursework and field experiences related to the research process. This paper explores one novice researcher’s earliest experiences with engaging the methods coursework, designing research studies, entering the field for data collection, and writing manuscripts.
